Edmonton City Centre Airport (ECCA) is home to small charters, private and corporate aircraft, training, military, industrial and medivac flights. ECCA has everything the general aviation enthusiast needs. From Fixed Base Operators to aircraft painting and maintenance plus all the advantages for being located within the city of Edmonton.
NAV CANADA operates an air traffic control tower providing full air traffic control services. The airport operates 24 hours a day with noise restrictions from 200 to 0700 hours (MST) daily.
- In 2007, over 80,000 flights either came in to or left ECCA
- In 2008, students earned their pilots license (our future medivac, fire fighting, army, commercial pilots)
- There are over 800 aviation related jobs at this ECCA.
- There are over 35 aviation related businesses.
- There are 47 non avaition businesses on airport land.
